Like all new communities, Stevenson Oaks began to develop various resident committees shortly after opening. One of those committees, is the library committee with Diana Williams taking the lead as President, and Nancy Tucker serving as the Vice President.
Residents launch S.O.N.G.S. (Stevenson Oaks Neighbors Gonna Sing) with several performances already under their belt.
Stevenson Oaks resident, Donna Moore was bursting with pride in early May when Buddy Holly or “Buddy,” a petit basset griffon Vendeen (PBGV) was named Best in Show under judge Ms. Elizabeth “Beth” Sweigart at the 147th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Moore is co-owner of the champion along with Lizzie Cadmore, Cathy O’Neill, and Janice Hayes, who is also his handler.
