Unexpected depletion of funds – through no fault of the resident – can create painful stress for residents and their families. You can ensure that the impact of the financial predicament is minimized when you make a gift to the Benevolent Care fund below. With your help, every Stevenson Oaks resident can be sure their needs will always be met, and they’ll always have a home in our community.
Direct contributions to Stevenson Oaks are also welcome. You can establish a fund to honor or memorialize a loved one. Or you can contribute in myriad other ways (but please check with us, as our nonprofit status means we have strict rules to abide by). You may give anonymously or join our other wonderful donors in our Annual Gifts list.
- Benevolent Care – One of a senior’s worst fears is not being able to afford to stay in their home and losing needed care. Your gift can help a resident stay with us and maintain their dignity.
- Education – MRC has long promoted lifelong learning. One of our intergenerational programs is WYSE, or Wisdom for Youth from Senior Expertise, which benefits both our residents and high school seniors and juniors. The hope is that WYSE will connect high school students with MRC residents in new and meaningful ways.
- Construction – MRC dreams of serving increasing numbers of seniors with new communities, and for this they depend on major donations for start-up capital. Without the support of the individuals, couples, families and organizations that share our commitment to senior care in a faith-based environment, MRC might never have grown from the same building where it started, more than 55 years ago.
