Sticking Together

When an ice storm was heading towards Fort Worth, the team at Stevenson Oaks mobilized. They knew roads would prevent safe travel for an unknown duration of time. They proactively gathered a multitude of blow-up mattresses so that willing staff members could stay overnight to ensure the resident’s needs were met. Residents even chipped in providing sheets, pillows, and other amenities to make sure the team was comfortable. In the end, 18 dedicated team members stayed four consecutive nights at the community. Evenings were filled with games and conversation as they waited for the city to defrost.
