Stevenson Oaks Neighbors Gonna Sing

Dub Shepherd, resident of Stevenson Oaks, recognized a shared love of music amongst fellow neighbors when he sent out a message to the group gauging interest in February. By March, the room was filled with eager participants for their first ever meeting of S.O.N.G.S. (Stevenson Oaks Neighbors Gonna Sing). The group has decided to meet every Friday to practice. They have already been invited to lead the Sunday worship service and recently performed at the Veteran Wall reveal. Resident and choir member, Donna Stork shared, “S.O.N.G.S. is a group of residents who meet weekly and enjoy the fun and fellowship provided during our practices and performances. Professionalism and leadership create an atmosphere appreciated by the participants.”
