New Beginnings

Annette Joseph and Ed Roberts each reserved an apartment at Stevenson Oaks while still strangers before the building’s construction was complete. It wasn’t until the community hosted a social event the summer prior to opening that the pair met and both experienced a spark. While they each were preparing for a new home address, new lifestyle and new friends, neither was fully prepared to also find new love. Once the courtship began, the connection the pair shared was undeniable. That’s why it came as no surprise to the staff when the couple asked to reserve the community’s chapel to host a small wedding ceremony. “These two are proving that there are some perks to living at Stevenson Oaks that are not listed in the brochure,” laughed Kristi Baird, Executive Director, “we are all so happy for them!”
