A Very Grand Opening

Kristi Baird, Executive Director, was all smiles as the huge pair of scissors sliced through the ceremonial ribbon at the community’s recent Grand Opening event. “This event was about celebrating all of the people who have contributed to making Stevenson Oaks what it is today. The most important group we celebrate is our residents. Without them, this place is only a building, they are the ones that make it a home,” expressed Baird.

The event was packed with over 200 people to celebrate the milestone with a brief ceremony featuring remarks from Baird as well as Resident Council President, David Mindel, MRC Board President, Alyce Anne Baggett, and MRC President and CEO, Alan Brown. Following the ceremony, the attendees were wowed by the chef prepared hors d’oeuvres and desserts.

Brown shared, “It was a really great time to be together and celebrate all of the great things that lay ahead for Stevenson Oaks.”
